Dear Friends and Neighbors, 

I am excited to announce the launch of my campaign for a second term as Oak Park Village President. After 20 plus years of dedicated public service to our community, I am eager to continue our work together to create a more sustainable, vibrant, and inclusive Oak Park.

As your current Village President I am proud of all that we have accomplished together.  I am first and foremost a collaborative leader.  I tackle every challenge and opportunity by bringing talented partners together.  I value a breadth of perspectives for all that we can learn from each other with the goal of making decisions that best represent the direction for Oak Park that we collectively share, whether on sustainability, community safety, affordability, or economic vitality. 

I have worked with elected officials at every level of government to leverage resources to support our goals and increase the collective impact for regional gain so that every dollar we spend here in Oak Park goes that much further.  Our relationships with our governmental partners have grown stronger over the last four years.  Together we share the goal of closing our gaps in services so that our systems work for the benefit of all residents while decreasing areas of duplication.  

Under my leadership, Oak Park is taking the lead on how local government is best positioned to serve all residents with compassion and accountability.  The next four years will be crucial for preserving basic freedoms and democracy and living our values of inclusion and equity. 

I invite you to join me in this journey. Let’s work together to expand our vision for Oak Park and ensure our community remains a place where everyone can thrive. I would love to hear your thoughts, ideas, and concerns as we move forward.
